Waiting on Wednesday

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. First I'll talk about my YA pick, the second will be a romance pick!

Me, Him, Them, and It by Caela Carter

"When Evelyn decided to piss off her parents with a bad reputation, she wasn't planning to ruin her valedictorian status. She also wasn't planning to fall for Todd-the guy she was just using for sex. And she definitely wasn't planning on getting pregnant. When Todd turns his back on her, Evelyn's not sure where to go. Can a distant mother, a cheating father, an angry best friend, and a (thankfully) loving aunt with adopted daughters of her own help Evelyn make the heart-wrenching decisions that follow?"

I know YA books tend to display teen pregnancy in all the wrong ways... but this one has really great reviews from people who were able to read the ARC!

I'm completely guilty of being on the 16 and Pregnant bandwagon. I love that show. Oddly though, I don't Like Teen Mom 1,2, 2000 or whatever number they are up to now. I just like the time when the girl is pregnant with a baby... and has no idea what she's in for. My boyfriend, hates this show. It really makes me smile because he yells at the baby daddy's like there is no tomorrow... good to know he knows to take care of a girl.

Enough about my tv show rant. As you can see this book is right up my alley! I'm hoping it's as great as I've heard... because I can guarantee this will be a must read! This one comes out in just a month on February 5, 2013!

Sand Castle Bay by Sherryl Woods

In a trade-off she's lived to regret, Emily Castle left home years ago to become an interior designer. The youngest of three sisters, Emily desperately wanted to prove herself. Success, though, came at the cost of leaving behind the man she loved.
For Boone Dorsett, losing Emily left his heart shattered, but another woman was waiting in the wings. Now a widower with a young son, Boone has a second chance with Emily when a storm brings her home. But with his former in-laws threatening a custody suit, the stakes of loving her are higher than ever.
Will fate once again separate them-or is the time finally right for these two star-crossed lovers?

I loved Sherryl Woods Chesapeake Shores series. It was one of the first books I read on my brand new nook a few years ago. So I was ecstatic when I found out she has a new series coming out this year!! Her books are always like a warm bath! They're full of happy sweet feelings, and I just know that when I finish the book I will think happy thoughts about the world. At least for a few days. Plus, I just love that cover!! It's such a happy cover! Simple photography I know, but it works. I love books with covers of the outdoors instead of people. I like landscape and nature photography, so I figure it comes with the territory.

This one will be in stores everywhere on March 26, 2013!
